After receiving the 2013 Outstanding Volunteer Award, Gino Mirolli continued to stay involved as the past coordinator for the DSO softball, basketball and washer’s programs. Gino has continued to play on both Delaware softball and basketball teams that have medaled at the National Senor Games. Gino started a weekly basketball league for Delaware senior athletes in New Castle County, all of whom are members of DSO. From this league, there have been four teams in different age levels that have represented Delaware in the National Senior Games. Gino was a past Director of DSO for 5 years and served as President of the BOD for 2 years. For his time with DSO as a player, coach, coordinator and director, Gino is truly a DSO Outstanding Legend.
